Barack, He's not it!

When I first heard about David Freddoso's “The Case Against Barack Obama,” I did not even think of reading it. I have better things to do than waste time reading right-wing propaganda - see, it was well known that the author is a staunch Republican.

But I was surprised to see a review of the book in the recent issue of The Economist. And they actually liked it!

Unfortunately for Obama, the details in the book are not very complimentary, and apparently very true.

According to the review, Obama played down and dirty politics in Chicago:
"he won the Democratic nomination for his Illinois seat by getting a team of lawyers to throw all the other candidates off the ballot on various technicalities. One of those he threw off was a veteran black politician, a woman who helped him get started in politics in the first place."

...

Yes! You want to read the rest!

As an (A)narchist I'd say , "If voting could change things , they'd make it illegal" , but I admit that some polticians are better than others .
Hillary won the popular vote but lost the presidential candidacy . The latest statistics I have are as follows -
Women are 1/2 of the human race , perform 2/3 of its work hours , receive 1/10 of the world's income and own less than 1/100 of the world's property .
There are - rightly - lots of black presidents in the world but precious few female ones . Business - and imperialism - as usual ...
Perhaps Angela Davis should stand –

I know without Michigan and FLorida she was close;
Have you run the numbers with MI and FL counted?
They should count because even at the convention he was for giving the delegates from FL and MI full voting rights - so full votes! :-))

exactly! the better candidate too!
Can you imagine her making mincemeat of McCain?

I may still write in Hillary!

But with Massachusetts firmly in the bark blue column, I might as well have some fun and root for the Palin-ator *waves hand*
:-)
